DiffReceiptProduct page

Privacy

Your PDF revisions stay on your Mac.

PDF processing

DiffReceipt reads only the PDF files or folders you select. The current native build performs hashing, page matching, raster comparison, text extraction and receipt generation locally. It does not upload documents, require an account or modify source PDFs.

Receipts and manifests

When you export, DiffReceipt writes a PDF, Markdown and JSON receipt plus a checksum manifest to the destination you choose. Receipts may include file paths, hashes and bounded text examples, so you control where they are stored and shared.

Website and checkout

This website may produce ordinary server access logs. Purchases are processed by Polar as merchant of record under its own privacy terms. Shipmac receives the purchase details needed to deliver and support the app; payment-card details are not handled by the app.

Diagnostics

No analytics SDK or automatic crash-reporting service is enabled in the current app build. A sample PDF you voluntarily send to Shipmac will only be used to investigate the issue you reported.

Changes

This policy will be updated before release if DiffReceipt adds an optional network service, diagnostics provider or different checkout processor.

Website analytics

This website loads Google Analytics only after you choose Allow analytics. When enabled, Shipmac measures page visits, the product hostname and checkout starts; it does not send files or content processed by the Mac app. You can change your choice at any time using Analytics choices.
